The Art Book Room houses valuable art and music collections, the Beat Poetry, Little Magazine and Prestini collections. The Art Book Room is part of the larger art and music holdings located adjacent to the room.
Special Collections Books includes Western and Great Basin history materials, Mormon history resources, Utah and Idaho state documents, book arts, and the USU Libraries' rare book collection.

Fife Folklore Archives is one of the largest repositories of American folklore in the United States. FFA contains USU Folklore Program student collections, folklore fieldwork and research, and folklore books, including the Austin and Alta Fife and Malcolm Laws Collections.
Manuscript Section houses collections of unpublished archival materials like correspondence, diaries, and ledgers that document the history of Utah and the Intermountain West. This area also includes historical newspapers and maps of local and regional interest.
Photograph Section contains the works of well-known regional photographers, USU images, and photographs of people and places of Utah and surrounding areas.
